一、教学目标：

1. 知识目标：

(1) Ss can master these words: shake, milk shake, blender, turn on, peel, pour

(2) Ss can master one sentence structure:  

─How do you make a banana milk shake?    

─First,...   Then,...   Next,...    Finally,...

(3) 学生能描述出做香蕉奶昔的过程，并能正确地运用表示顺序的词汇。

2. 情感目标：

通过制作食物的介绍, 培养学生的实际生活能力, 了解生活知识, 增长生活阅历, 培养实践操作能力和动手能力。

二、教学重难点

1. 教学重点：动词词组；描述过程的顺序词。

2. 教学难点：能恰当地使用祈使句表达食物的制作过程。

三、教学过程

Step 1. Lead-in

Teacher shows a cup of milk shake.

T: Look, can you guess what’s this?

Ss: It’s a milk shake.

T: Do you know what milk shake is?

T: It’s a kind of drink with milk, fruit and ice-cream. And it’s also a banana milk shake. Do you know how to make a banana milk shake?

Ss: No.

T: This class I will show you the process of making a banana milk shake. Before we make it, let’s discuss what ingredients do we need and what tools do we mainly need?

(四人小组活动，讨论制作香蕉奶昔需要什么材料和主要使用什么工具。)

T: What ingredients do we need?

Ss: bananas, milk, ice-cream.

T: What tools do we mainly need?

Ss: knife, blender, glass.

Step 2. Do 1a. Write these words in the blanks in the picture above.

(1).Teacher acts out the verb phrases and shows the pictures about the verb phrases at the same time in order to make Ss understand the meaning of these verb phrases: turn on; cut up; drink, peel, pour, put

(2).T: Now can you describe the small pictures one by one? For example, the first picture: drink the milk shake.

Ask students to choose the correct words to fill in the blanks by themselves. Then check the answers.

Step 3. Listening 1b

(1).T: What are the right steps to make a banana milk shake?

Students listen to the listening materials and put the instructions in order. Then check the answers.

(2).Listen again and fill in the blank.

_______, cut up the bananas.

_______, put the bananas and ice-cream in the blender.

_______, pour the milk into the blender.

_______, turn on the blender.              

_______, pour the milk shake into a glass and drink it.

(本次播放录音的目的是为了让学生明确知道描述制作香蕉奶昔的顺序词是哪些。)

(3).Listen again and fill in the blank.

First, ______ three bananas.

Then, ___________ the bananas.

Now, ________ the bananas and ice-cream________ the blender.

Then, _________ the milk ________ the blender.

Next, ____________ the blender.              

Finally,_________ the milk shake __________ a glass and drink it.

(本次播放录音的目的是为了让学生明确了解如何制作香蕉奶昔。同时老师边对答案边现场制作香蕉奶昔，目的是为了让学生更加清楚直观地了解制作过程。)

(Teacher makes a banana milk shake in according to the process of making a banana milk shake in class. Then write down the key words on the blackboard. Students can use the information in 1b to tell the process of making a milk shake. )

(教师把first , then, now, then, next, finally写在黑板上，以达到降低难度和强化重点的作用。)

Step 4. Show time

Let one student make a banana milk shake in front of all the students.

(The student must tell the process of making a milk shake while he/she is making a banana milk shake. )

Step 5. Pair work 1c

1. Use the information in 1b. Ask and answer with a partner.

2. Let some pairs to act out their conversations in class.

Step 6. Homework:

做一杯父母喜欢的水果奶昔，并简要说明过程。
